The Candy Store Restaurant in Newport - Dining Review

The Candy Store is the more casual counterpart of the Clark Cooke House.

The dining room is open on two sides allowing the cool evening breezes in. Some of the tables will have a harbor view. However, the dining room is extremely crowded. You will probably end up being as intimate with your neighbors as you are with the people at your table. The service was great considering the number of guests.

The Menu includes a variety of fresh seafood and shellfish, steaks and chicken. They have an extensive wine list.

The dress is fairly casual for the Candy Store but not for the Clark Cooke House.
